Our milk starts with our healthy Maine cows, born and raised under our watchful eye and tended with loving care.
When milking is completed, the milk is immediately chilled to 36° to preserve freshness, taste and texture as it is transported to our local processing plant.
The milk is then pasteurized using the HTST (High Temperature Short Time) pasteurization process for better retention of the natural, fresh taste and texture of the milk. This process also maintains a higher content of vitamins and proteins for optimum nutrition, and enzymes for optimum digestion.
Following HTST Pasteurization our milk is again rapidly chilled using a cold process which further ensures the freshest product. The final product reaches you cold, delicious and nutritious!
